7 Day Itinerary

• Day 1:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.

• Day 2: Rüdesheim

  We head into Germany and visit bustling Rüdesheim, set on the River Rhine. Discover the wonderful Christmas markets here and savour some of the treats available, such as the traditional gingerbread hearts and warming mulled wine or why not try a traditional Rüdesheim coffee at one of the lovely cafes along the pedestrianised Drosselgasse.

  Continue to Bad Dürkheim and our hotel for four nights.

• Day 3: Heidelberg Christmas Markets

  Discover picturesque Heidelberg, set on the River Neckar and overlooked by the majestic castle. Why not visit the castle and take in the wonderful architecture and views of the city below.

  Stroll along the charming winding alleyways of the Old Town, as well as soaking up the festive atmosphere at the colourful festive stalls.

• Day 4: Speyer

  Enjoy our visit to historic Speyer, famous for its stunning Imperial Cathedral, which is the largest preserved Romanesque church in Europe.

  The delightful Christmas market is held on the bustling Maximilianstrasse, in front of the Old Mint.

• Day 5: Mainz
