Excursion to the National Trust’s Scotney Castle. The beautiful gardens, bursting with rhododendrons and azaleas, form a glorious backdrop to the fairytale castle.
There is a wealth of treasures to be found in the Vctorian country mansion, where three generations have made their mark, adding possessions and character.

Majestic Eastbourne Hotel
Formerly a Bay Hotel, at the Majestic Hotel you will stay right on the main street along Eastbourne’s Royal Parade, close to Redoubt Fort and the world-famous Carpet Gardens. Eastbourne has been a favourite destination on the south coast for many years and the town has recently seen a revival in some of its most famous attractions. The hotel is within a short walk of Eastbourne Pier, which was recently renovated after a devastating fire in 2014. The pier has been home to Victorian Tea Rooms and the Camera Obscura for more than 100 years. As well as the relaxing lounge and open-fronted bar area giving great views of the seafront, the hotel also has a beautiful sun terrace - the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.
