Christmas in Cheshire

5 Day Itinerary

• 23rd Dec:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Cheshire and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a welcome tea or coffee and mince pie on arrival to get us into the Christmas spirit. This evening enjoy a 3 course dinner followed by festive music.

• 24th Dec: Christmas Eve in Chester

  Start the day with a traditional cooked breakfast before your morning excursion to historic Chester. The most complete walled city in Britain, Chester is the historic gem of North West England.

  A cornucopia of delights, Chester has inspired writers and artists for years. Soak in the atmosphere created by an abundance of black & white buildings set in a circuit of glorious city walls.

  Chester's crowning glory is the 13th century Rows - two-tiers of shops running along the main streets. A leisurely walk along the 2 miles of the City Walls will take you past many delights, such as the enchanting Eastgate Clock and the 1000 year old Cathedral, a haven of reflective.

  We return to the hotel for a candle lit evening meal. A relaxing evening is planned with a game of bingo and a festive general knowledge quiz.

• 25th Dec: Christmas Day at leisure

  Wake up on Christmas day to a traditional cooked breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll, take the time to read, play cards and games before your full traditional Christmas lunch.

  The afternoon will consist of guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, a visit from Santa & the Queens speech.

  A hot and cold buffet will be served for dinner followed by an evening of fun and games.

• 26th Dec: Boxing Day in Cheshire Oaks

  Your Boxing Day morning will start with a traditional cooked breakfast.

  We then enjoy a trip through some charming Cheshire Villages, with leafy streets and historic homes.

  We continue onto Cheshire Oaks, a large pedestrianised, village-style site for designer and high-street fashion brand discounts - perfect for a Boxing Day sale!
  
  Enjoy an evening with a 3-course dinner and round off your stay with live entertainment.

• 27th Dec:

  One final traditional breakfast before we bid you farewell with fond memories and a safe journey home
