Christmas in Inverness

5 Day Itinerary

• 23rd Dec:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Inverness and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a welcome tea or coffee and mince pie on arrival to get us into the Christmas spirit.

  This evening enjoy a 3 course dinner followed by festive music.

• 24th Dec: Christmas Eve at leisure in Inverness

  Start the day with a traditional cooked breakfast before enjoying the day in Inverness. Stroll outside the hotel onto Bank Street and wander along the River Ness. Why not pick up a last minute Christmas gift for a book lover in your life at the unusual Leakey's bookshop, or browse Eastgate Shopping Centre?

  Return to the hotel for a candle lit evening meal. A relaxing evening is planned with a game of bingo and a festive general knowledge quiz.

• 25th Dec: Christmas Day at leisure

  Wake up on Christmas day to a traditional cooked breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll, take the time to read, play cards and games before your full traditional Christmas lunch.

  The afternoon will consist of guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, a visit from Santa & the Queens speech. A hot and cold buffet will be served for dinner followed by an evening of fun and games.

• 26th Dec: Boxing Day at Loch Ness and Fort Augustus

  Your Boxing Day morning will start with a traditional cooked breakfast. We then enjoy a trip along the shores of mystical Loch Ness - perhaps you'll spot the elusive Nessie! We continue to Fort Augustus, a small town where the Caledonian Canal meets the loch.

  Enjoy an evening with a 3-course dinner and round off your stay with live entertainment.

• 27th Dec:
