5 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Local departure by coach, then on to Newquay and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a mulled wine with a mince pie on arrival to get us into the Christmas spirit.

  • Day 2: Christmas Eve in Falmouth

    From the north coast of Cornwall to the south, today we visit delightful Falmouth. This popular maritime town is known for its deep-water harbour; Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts; and its National Maritime Museum, a world class attraction offering unique interactive displays. Explore the colourful harbour and the bustling high street. Perfect to do a little Christmas Eve shopping or to simply enjoy the coastal views!

  • Day 3: Christmas Day at leisure

    Merry Christmas! Relax in Newquay, open some presents, tuck into a traditional turkey dinner, and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the hotel with your fellow travellers.

  • Day 4: Boxing Day in Padstow

    This morning we visit the charming fishing village of Padstow. Explore Cornwall’s capital of seafood cuisine with its bustling harbour and great selection of cafes and restaurants, gift and craft shops – it’s easy to see why celebrity chef Rick Stein loves Padstow so much! We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.

    The Marina Hotel is situated just across the road from Tolcarne Beach close to all of Newquay’s attractions Enjoy the very best of Newquay’s beaches with numerous places to enjoy the sea and sand within an easy walk of the hotel. Towan Beach is Newquay’s main spot for all the fun of the seaside, with a number of bars, restaurants and shops close by. Head a little way out of town and you can find Fistral Beach, which is huge in comparison to the beaches in town and is worth the journey for the space and scenery you will find here. A number of the rooms in the hotel are front facing with spectacular views over Tolcarne beach and to the town centre behind it. In the restaurant you can enjoy fabulous breakfasts and evening meals before enjoying a relaxing evening drink in the bar and lounge.
