8 Day Itinerary

• Dec 21:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.

• Dec 22:

  Through Germany and into Austria to reach our hotel in Werfenweng for five nights.

• Dec 23: Austrian Lakes

  The Austrian lakes are known for their stunning beauty, and we’ll take a tour to some of them during this excellent excursion. No matter what time of year it is, this area is always breathtaking, and we’ll get to admire the natural spendour throughout this excursion.

  Weather permitting, we’ll also enjoy a relaxing cruise on one of the Salzkammergut’s most famous lakes - Lake Wolfgang. With its beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this lake is so popular.

• Christmas Eve: Salzburg

  The city of Salzburg makes for an excellent excursion, the setting for the Sound of Music. Enjoy the old town with its impressive fortress and cathedral, take time out to visit the house where Mozart was born or relax in the Mirabell Gardens.

  There are numerous architectural styles to be found in Salzburg, including Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. See the best of the city on our optional guided tour.
