8 Day Itinerary

• Dec 21:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then travel through the night on our overnight express coach.

• Dec 22:

  We arrive in Chianciano late morning and have time to settle into our hotel, the Hotel Mizar, for our first night in this beautiful destination.

• Dec 23: Florence

  Florence is the capital of Tuscany, and is a wonderful city with amazing architecture and a huge number of historical sights. With something for everyone, this excursion to Florence is sure to make for an enjoyable day out.

  For instance, while at leisure in the city, you can choose to see such sights as the Piazza della Signoria where the Fountain of Neptune is located, as well as a replica of Michelangelo’s David statue – the original is housed within the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. There’s also the gothic Florence Cathedral, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Archeological Museum, the Museum of the History of Science, and many other sights.

  Relax and make yourself at home on Christmas Day! We celebrate with a festive Christmas lunch and a fantastic dinner.

• Boxing Day: Pienza & Siena

  Today we discover the historical towns of Pienza and Siena. In Pienza, we’ll find a beautiful Tuscan town – the town itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as the valley it’s located within, the Val d'Orcia. Pienza features stunning landscapes and is a treat to explore.

  Next, we’ll make our way the Siena. With the city’s historical centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of Italy’s most-visited tourist attractions and is famous for its beautiful attractions.
