Christmas is a truly special time of year, whether you want to spend it with family, relax in your own company, or meet new people and new friends. Join us for a mulled wine and mince pie on arrival, Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, festive cream tea each day, and a small gift from Santa! Celebrate this magical time of year in the Lake District, famous for its stunning scenery, early 19th century poets, and for being the most visited National Park in the UK.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach, then on to Windermere and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a mulled wine with a mince pie on arrival to get us into the Christmas spirit.

Day 2: Christmas Eve in Keswick and Grasmere
Today we visit the picturesque market town of Keswick. Overlooked by the dramatic Skiddaw range in the north and the expansive Derwentwater in the south the town enjoys an idyllic location in the north of the Lake District. Enjoy time at leisure to explore the town before continuing to the pretty village of Grasmere, known for being the home of William Wordsworth. Explore the village where you can admire the spectacular surrounding fells, visit Wordsworth’s grave, or maybe even buy some of the legendary Grasmere gingerbread.

Day 3: Christmas Day at leisure
Merry Christmas! Relax in Windermere, open some presents, tuck into a traditional turkey dinner, and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the hotel with your fellow travellers.

Day 4: Boxing Day in Coniston
This morning we visit Coniston, in the shadow of the Old Man of Coniston, which rises dramatically over the historic village. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.

Day 5:
We depart the hotel this morning, filled with magical Christmas memories, and return home.
