Christmas in Yorkshire

5 Day Itinerary

• 23rd Dec:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Yorkshire and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a welcome tea or coffee and mince pie on arrival to get us into the Christmas spirit. This evening enjoy a 3 course dinner followed by festive music.

• 24th Dec: Christmas Eve in Harrogate

  Start the day with a traditional cooked breakfast before your morning excursion to nearby Harrogate. This Victorian spa town has long been a popular resort, bursting with heritage and attractive architecture.

  We return to the hotel for a candle lit evening meal. A relaxing evening is planned with a game of bingo and a festive general knowledge quiz.

• 25th Dec: Christmas Day at leisure

  Wake up on Christmas day to a traditional cooked breakfast. Enjoy a leisurely morning stroll, take the time to read, play cards and games before your full traditional Christmas lunch.

  The afternoon will consist of guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, a visit from Santa & the Queens speech. A hot and cold buffet will be served for dinner followed by an evening of fun and games.

• 26th Dec: Boxing Day in York

  Your Boxing Day morning will start with a traditional cooked breakfast. We then enjoy a trip to historic York. This most historic city, dating back to Roman times, is bursting with history, medieval character and architectural masterpieces; not to mention the independent shops in the pretty Shambles.

  Enjoy an evening with a 3-course dinner and round off your stay with live entertainment.
