ABOUT THE TOUR
Llandudno is the premier seaside resort in Wales. This traditional Victorian town retains much of its 19th-century grandeur with pier, promenade, and spectacular sweeping views across the bay, and with the majestic Great Orme mountain as a backdrop.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Somerset Hotel, Llandudno for four nights.

Day 2: Llangollen
Enjoy a scenic tour travelling via Rhos-on-Sea and the marble church at St. Asaph to visit the ancient market town of Llangollen, nestled with the beautiful Dee Valley, under the watchful gaze of Dinas Bran Castle. We return to Llandudno via the scenic Horseshoe Pass.

Day 3: Day at leisure or Snowdonia National Park
Explore Llandudno at your leisure, stroll along the promenade, or perhaps if you’re feeling adventurous why not take on the Great Orme? There is a seasonal tramway which may help you on your journey to the top, but if you take the walk you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views!
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Snowdonia National Park, calling at pretty Betws-y-Coed.

Trip to visit the interesting Isle of Anglesey, travelling via Llanfair PG, the village with the longest name in Britain, en route to pretty Beaumaris, which boasts one of Edward I’s most beautiful castles.

Day 4: Bodnant Welsh Food Centre and Snowdonia
Discover all manner of Welsh produce at the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre where we enjoy included refreshments and a slice of Welsh Bara Brith! Later in the day we heard into Snowdonia National Park, calling at pretty Betws-y-Coed.

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Somerset Hotel in Llandudno.
Following an extensive refurbishment in 2016, the Somerset Hotel offers a seafront coffee shop, enlarged ballroom with a bar, and the seafront gardens. The hotel offers some sea view rooms (additional supplement) with views of the pier, seafront promenade and the Great Orme. With just a 10 minute walk to the city centre, there are a variety of attraction to explore.
