Our railway adventure begins with a train ride along the West Highland Line from Tarbet to Fort William. The views are truly amazing, so it is no surprise that this journey is acclaimed as one of the very best in Scotland.

Tarbet Hotel
Stay on the shores of legendary Loch Lomond in the village of Tarbet surrounded by forests and magnificent mountains. The former Bay Tarbet hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Tarbet Pier from where you can take a cruise over the loch to Rowardennan during which you can enjoy insurmountable views of Ben Lomond. Tarbet has a number of quaint tearooms which are a great place to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while enjoying views over the loch. In the hotel’s restaurant, you can enjoy fabulous sights over the surrounding countryside while eating tasty breakfast and evening meals daily. Relax in the bar during the evening to take in the views over the loch from some of the hotel’s rooms.
