Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Valley of the Rocks Hotel, Lynton for four nights.

Day 2: West Somerset Railway and Minehead
Excursion travelling across Exmoor to join the West Somerset Railway. Take in the glorious scenery as we gently roll back the years on our journey beside the Quantock Hills.
We also enjoy free time in the popular seaside resort of Minehead.

Day 3: Day at leisure or Barnstaple
Relax in Lynton, or join our optional excursion to Barnstaple, full of pretty alleyways and courtyards. Be sure to visit the Victorian style Pannier Market, with its traditional atmosphere and unique Butcher’s Row.

Formerly a Bay Hotel, the Valley of the Rocks Hotel is located in the quaint village of Lynton and is a great place to take in some stunning coastal scenery. The hotel is the perfect place to explore Exmoor National Park, a wild landscape of dark moorland. The hotel restaurant serves sumptuous meals for breakfast and in the evening while midday meals are available in the bar area.
