Local departure by coach, then on to Whitby and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a Buck’s Fizz on arrival to get us in the spirit to celebrate the New Year!

Day 2: New Year’s Eve in North York Moors
Take in some truly stunning scenery this New Year’s Eve! Enjoy a scenic trip, taking in the delights of the North York Moors to call at Pickering. We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5 course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down for midnight!

Today we take a trip to the majestic city of York. York has a rich history and many museums celebrating it, such as the Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum telling of 300 years of railway history, and the Chocolate Story which tells of the many famous sweet brands associated with the city. York Minster’s impressive Gothic architecture dominates the city as one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe, and The Shambles are always worth a visit, with its over-hanging timber-framed houses and traditional shopfronts. Browse York’s many shops, from high street favourites to quirky and independent boutiques, along with excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants. We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5 course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down for midnight!
