Charming Pitlochry is the ideal spot for a relaxing break and the delightful town is close enough to walk to. We explore the stunning Queen’s View, a favourite of Queen Victoria’s as well as the fair city of Perth, and enjoy a wee dram!

8 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to our comfortable overnight hotel. This break in the journey gives you time to socialise with your fellow travellers and relax, ready for your holiday to begin.

  • Day 2:

    This morning we will continue our journey to Scotland, arriving at the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel, Pitlochry for five nights.

  • Day 3: Perth and Glenturret Distillery

    Visit the ‘fair city’ of Perth, set by the River Tay and spanned by two bridges.

    We also visit the Glenturret Distillery for a tour and tasting.

  • Day 4: Day at leisure or Stirling

    Relax in Pitlochry, or join our optional excursion to Stirling, where the skyline is dominated by the castle and there’s history around every corner.

    Admire the spectacular scenery at Queen’s View, named after Queen Victoria who used to holiday here. We then continue to Aberfeldy, a lovely village in Highland Perthshire.

    The former Coast & Country Pitlochry Hydro Hotel enjoys a fine location in the magnificent Perthshire Highlands, only a short walk from the town of Pitlochry, where there are a number of distilleries to enjoy some of the finest local tipples including world-famous Edradour Distillery. There is plenty to keep you entertained in the hotel. Built-in the style of a traditional Scottish hunting lodge, the hotel has two stylish lounges and a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals. A highlight is undoubtedly the leisure club with an indoor pool, gym sauna and Jacuzzi, perfect for getting the last of your energy out and winding down after a long day exploring the fantastic Scottish countryside and cities.
