Formerly a Coast & Country hotel, The Ship & Castle occupies an enviable position right on the harbour of the sleepy Cornish coastal village of St. Mawes with views of Carrick Roads and Percuill River. At the other side of the village is St Mawes Castle which is at the perfect spot for views over the coast to Pendennis Castle in Falmouth. St. Mawes is perfectly located to explore the Roseland Peninsula which has a number of beautiful walking trails along the coast. Inside the hotel is the perfect place to relax, with fantastic views so why not grab a bottle of wine in the lounge and look out at the boats on the harbour as the sunsets after a busy day?
