The pretty village of Tarbet is a beautiful destination in which to take a relaxing break away from it all. The Tarbet Hotel is splendidly set in a serene location on the edge of tranquil Loch Lomond. The hotel offers a warm Scottish welcome, which is complemented by its contemporary style and superb amenities, making it the ideal base from which to explore popular visitor attractions nearby such as the Trossachs National Park, Luss and Inveraray. Inside the hotel, you’ll find a modern reception and restaurant, both refurbished in 2018, along with cosy bedrooms providing the perfect night’s sleep. 5 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1: Travel to Your Hotel

    Make your own way to your hotel, where you will enjoy a comfortable four-night stay. Settle into the hotel with a mulled wine to get you into the Christmas spirit.

    Included meals: Dinner

  • Days 2 to 4: Loch Lomond

    Spend three days independently exploring the area in and around Loch Lomond.

    Visit the beautiful Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park located in the Highlands area of Southern Scotland – this is an outdoor paradise for explorers! Breaks to Loch Lomond will unite you with a glorious array of mountains within open countryside, featuring various walking and cycling trails.

    Each afternoon there will be a cream tea at the hotel, and on Christmas Day there will be a traditional Christmas Lunch.

  • Day 5: Return Home

    After breakfast, and full of festive cheer, check out of your hotel and make your own way home.

The former Bay Tarbet hotel is less than a five-minute walk from Tarbet Pier from where you can take a cruise over the loch to Rowardennan during which you can enjoy insurmountable views of Ben Lomond. Tarbet has a number of quaint tearooms which are a great place to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while enjoying views over the loch. In the hotel’s restaurant, you can enjoy fabulous sights over the surrounding countryside while eating tasty breakfast and evening meals daily.
