Cornish cream tea or Devonshire cream tea? Why decide, when you can enjoy both on our fantastic twin-centre break taking in the best of the South West. Stay in beautiful St Ives for 3 nights and Paignton on the English Riviera for four nights, and explore the pretty coastal towns that Devon and Cornwall are so famous for, along with a visit to the fascinating Eden Project.

Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the St. Ives Bay Hotel, St. Ives for three nights.

Day 2: North Cornish Coast and Cream Tea
Cornwall is famous for many things, including its pretty coastal towns, its cream teas and its cider – and today you can enjoy all three!
We explore the beautiful Atlantic Coast, then call at Healey's Cyder Farm, before enjoying a traditional Cornish cream tea – jam first, then cream!

Day 3: Falmouth
On the south coast of Cornwall, Falmouth is a bustling harbour town which captures the spirit of the sea. Known for its deep water harbour, why not take a short cruise here, or simply enjoy the wealth of attractions throughout the town.

Day 4: St. Ives, Paignton & the Eden Project
Today we wave farewell to Cornwall, but not before stopping at the Eden Project, one of the most popular attractions in the region. Experience the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in Rainforest Biome, amble amongst orange and lemon trees in the Mediterranean Biome, and in the 30-acre outdoor garden, discover a wide variety of plants that flourish in the Cornish sunshine.
We then continue onto Paignton in Devon and the Esplanade Hotel, which is our base for the next four nights.

Day 5: Day at leisure
Relax in the hotel and explore delightful Paignton at leisure

Day 6: Plymouth, Cream Tea and Cruise
Take a trip to Plymouth where we visit the historic Barbican and take a harbour cruise to admire this bustling town from the water. Back on dry land, we visit Princetown where a delicious Devon cream tea is waiting – cream first, then jam!

We travel via the beautiful Teign Valley to Exeter, with its Gothic cathedral, cobbled streets and medieval history, sitting alongside its modern and contemporary shopping centre.

Paignton’s main beach is just a five-minute walk from the hotel while Paignton Pier and quieter Goodrington Beach are both just a 10-minute walk away. The centre of the town has a number of great cafes, restaurants and bars selling fantastic and delicious food, great for relaxing and taking time out from a busy day of seaside fun, just a five-minute walk from the hotel. St Ives Bay Hotel
Set on a cliff above St. Ives’ winding alleys, quaint cottages and boutique shops and overlooking Porthminster Beach, which has won many prestigious awards, the St. Ives Bay Hotel is a great place to enjoy this wonderful North Cornwall town. In less than 10 minutes you can stroll down to the seafront for a walk around the town’s harbour with a number of fantastic restaurants and bars surrounding the area. The hotel offers plenty of space to sit back and enjoy a refreshing drink in the courtyard terrace after a busy day of exploring everything that Cornwall has to offer.
