5 Day Itinerary

• Day 1:

  Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Strathmore Hotel, Morecambe for four nights.

• Day 2: Settle-Carlisle Railway

  Excursion to Carlisle where we join The Settle-Carlisle Railway for our journey which takes in some of the most dramatic scenery to be found in the British Isles.

  The 72-mile route takes us over the Ribblehead Viaduct and through the longest tunnel on the line at Blea Moor.

• Day 3: At leisure or Lake District

  Relax in Morecambe, or join our optional excursion to the Lake District where we visit bustling Bowness-on-Windermere.

  Scenic excursion venturing into the pretty Yorkshire Dales.

  Our trip takes us to Sedburgh, hugging a lovely spot between the Howgill Fells and the Dales and then we continue on to magical Hawes, home to the famous Wensleydale Cheese.
