Enjoy the festive season twice this year with mulled wine on arrival, Christmas dinner with a complimentary drink, and a festive afternoon tea one day. 5 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Local departure by coach, then on to Pitlochry and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.

  • Day 2: Perth and Dundee

    Today we visit the ‘fair city’ of Perth, receiving its nickname after the Fair Maid of Perth by Sir Walter Scott was published in 1828. This elegant city was once the ancient capital of Scotland, and today has a wealth of museums, art galleries, stunning gardens, along with a palace and racecourse. We then continue to Dundee, with its regenerated waterfront, nautical museums, and the V&A Museum – the first Victoria and Albert Museum outside of London which opened in 2018. We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.

  • Day 3: Day at leisure or Stirling

    Relax in Pitlochry or join our optional excursion to Stirling. This historic city is where the Wars of Independence were fought and won and where for three centuries monarchs rules, and today the rich heritage is apparent throughout the city. Why not stroll down the compact heritage mile which links Stirling’s Old Town with its bustling modern centre and admire the historic buildings . Overlooking the scene of one of Scotland’s most famous battle sites, Stiriling Bridge, is the 220 ft high National Wallace Monument. It’s 246 to the top, but the glorious views are worth it!

  • Day 4: Queen's View and House of Bruar

    This morning we visit the stunning Queen’s View lookout point to admire the simply beautiful scenery. This vantage point was much loved by Queen Victoria when she visited in 1866 and was named after her. Enjoy the majestic views of Loch Tummel and the Tay Forest Park. We then continue to House of Bruar, selling many famous brands and Scottish produce such as knitwear, whisky and traditional food as is the UK’s leading Scottish county clothing specialist. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.

There is plenty to keep you entertained in the hotel. Built-in the style of a traditional Scottish hunting lodge, the hotel has two stylish lounges and a fantastic restaurant where you can enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals.
