5 Day Itinerary

• Day 1:

  Local departure by coach, then on to St. Ives and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.

• Day 2: Falmouth

  Trip to the popular maritime resort of Falmouth, known for its deep-water harbour overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts. Falmouth's historic past is commemorated in its National Maritime Museum, a world class attraction offering unique interactive displays. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways. Perfect to do a little festive shopping or to simply enjoy the coastal views! We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.

• Day 3: Day at leisure or Truro

  Relax in St. Ives or join our optional excursion to the historic town of Truro. Admire the magnificent three-spired cathedral, revel in the elegant Georgian architecture, take a pleasant stroll along the pretty river or browse the shops.

• Day 4: Penzance

  This morning we enjoy a trip to the ancient market town of Penzance. If the weather is in your favour why not explore Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, otherwise the town is full of galleries, why not visit Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange. Stroll down Chapel Street to enjoy the shops, or enjoy some traditional Cornish fayre such as a pasty or seafood. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.
