5 Day Itinerary

• Day 1:

  Local departure by coach, then on to Weston-super-Mare and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.

• Day 2: Cardiff

  Today we visit the Welsh capital Cardiff, alive with culture and a cosmopolitan atmosphere that you would expect from any capital city. Why not visit Wales Millennium Centre at the heart of Cardiff Bay, the nation’s home for theatre and performing arts, or Cardiff Castle with 2000 years of history.

  At this time of year, wooden chalets pop up throughout Cardiff’s pedestrian shopping area, home to traders from across the country selling the traditional festive foods and hand-crafted gifts.

  We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.

• Day 3: Day at leisure or Bath

  Relax in Weston-super-Mare, or join our optional excursion to Bath. The largest city in Somerset and the only UK city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath is famous for its Roman Baths dating bac to 43AD, as well as the Royal Crescent and the Circus and many other examples of stunning architecture. Choose to visit the Jane Austen Centre and learn more about the author who loved this city, enjoy some retail therapy or simply relax in a chic bar or restaurant.

  At this time of year, Bath is home to hundreds of twinkling chalets spread out across the picturesque Georgian streets, selling a wealth of gifts and products.

• Day 4: Cheddar

  This morning we visit Cheddar, famous for the magnificent limestone Gorge has attracted visitors for centuries, which were formed over one million years ago during the last ice age. The village has riverside walks, quaint tearooms, and is home to the world-famous cheese and the traditional method of cheese making can still be seen at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.
