• Day 1:

  Local departure by coach, then on to Melrose and our hotel for three nights.

• Day 2: Edinburgh

  Today we visit the Scottish capital, Edinbugh. There’s no shortage of attractions, such as Calton Hill which home to Edinburgh’s most prominent monuments, the National Museum of Scotland and the Scotch Whisky Experience. Edinburgh Castle is a must-see, with the oldest parts of the complex dating back to the 11th century. Why not wander down the famous Royal Mile or Princes Street or simply just admire the architecture in this beautiful city.

• Day 3: Day at leisure or Jedburgh

  Relax in Melrose or join our optional excursion to Jedburgh. Mary Queen of Scots stayed here in 1566 at a house which now tells the story of her tragic life. Enjoy time at leisure to explore, take a riverside walk or browse the shops in the colourful buildings in the Market Place. On the outskirts of town is the Jedburgh Woolen Mill selling many famous brands and Scottish produce such as knitwear, whisky, traditional food and stocks over 250 tartans.
