The presents are unwrapped and the turkey has been eaten, but that doesn’t mean the festive spirit doesn’t live on! Enjoy the period in between Christmas and New Year, known as Twixmas in St Ives, known for its arts scene, quaint cottages and winding alleys, and from our hillside position, our hotel has incredible views of pristine Porthminster Beach.

4 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Local departure by coach, then on to St. Ives and our hotel for three nights.

    Included meals: Dinner

  • Day 2: Falmouth

    Trip to the popular maritime resort of Falmouth, known for its deep-water harbour overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts. Falmouth's historic past is commemorated in its National Maritime Museum, a world class attraction offering unique interactive displays. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways. Perfect to do a little shopping in the post-Christmas sales or to simply enjoy the coastal views!

  • Day 3: Day at leisure or Penzance

    Relax in St. Ives or join our optional excursion to the ancient market town of Penzance. If the weather is in your favour why not explore Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, otherwise the town is full of galleries, why not visit Newlyn Art Gallery and The Exchange. Stroll down Chapel Street to enjoy the shops, or enjoy some traditional Cornish fayre such as a pasty or seafood.
