ABOUT THE TOUR
Famous for its lakes, mountains and early 19th century poets, the Lake District is the most visited National Park in the UK and England’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Site. From here, we’ll explore the beautiful Lake District and cruise along Windermere.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Windermere Hotel, Windermere for four nights.

Day 2: Keswick and Grasmere
Trip travelling northwards to visit the market town of Keswick on the shores of beautiful Derwentwater and calling at Grasmere, in the very heart of the Lake District.

Day 4: Coniston and Windermere with cruise
Excursion visiting Coniston, in the shadow of the Old Man of Coniston, which rises dramatically over the historic village.
We continue onto Ambleside, where we board Windermere Cruises and sail to the pretty village of Bowness-on-Windermere.
