Being one of the ‘Airfix Generation’ I have had a life-long Remembrance
interest in military history. My father fought at Anzio in with
WW2 and both my grandfathers were in WW1.
I read History at university and went on to do a Masters. Specialist
I started work as a battlefield guide more than 30
years ago and have worked for Leger since their first GUIDES
ever Battlefield Tour in April 1997. I’m lucky to also work
as a military historian in television on projects for the BBC,
Channels 4 and 5, on both WW1 and WW2 including recently
Last Heroes of the Somme and Dunkirk: The New Evidence.
